At the Boston University commencement ceremony, some graduates responded to anti-Israel protesters disrupting the event by chanting “USA, USA”.

Over 50 students walked out holding signs and chanting slogans calling for universities to divest from Israeli companies and cut ties with Israeli institutions.

“Disclose. Divest. We will not stop, we will not rest,” they chanted.

Similar protests have occurred at other colleges during graduation ceremonies and commencement speeches from pro-Israel speakers.

The protests are part of a larger movement on campuses calling for universities to take political stands in support of Palestinian causes like divestment and ceasefires in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
