President Joe Biden is at Camp David in preparation for the first presidential debate of the 2024 campaign against former President Donald Trump.
Biden, along with his team and advisers, is intensively preparing at the secluded retreat before the June 27 debate in Atlanta.
While Biden’s team is focused on preparations led by Ron Klain, Trump’s advisers have downplayed the need for traditional debate preparation, emphasizing Trump’s frequent public appearances and speeches.
“President Trump takes on numerous tough interviews every single week and delivers lengthy rally speeches while standing, demonstrating elite stamina,” Trump senior adviser Jason Miller said.
The debate, moderated by CNN anchors, is set to last 90 minutes with Trump planning a campaign rally in Philadelphia before the event.
