Former President Donald Trump has gained a significant lead over President Joe Biden in recent polling by Rasmussen Reports.
Trump leads Biden by 9 points in a one-on-one scenario, extending to a double-digit lead when independent candidates are included.
Trump addressed supporters at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference, urging increased voter turnout among evangelicals and Christians.
“The evangelicals and the Christians, they don’t vote as much as they should. I don’t know if you know that,” Trump said.
“You know they go to church every Sunday, but they don’t vote, and we have to make sure they vote just this time, because all you have to do is this time,” he said.
“You don’t have to vote in four years, but you have to vote this time,” he said.
Biden’s approval among key Democratic voter groups, particularly women, has decreased significantly, with rising concerns about his reelection prospects due to inflation and economic impacts.
The analysis highlights a significant shift in support from women towards Trump compared to the previous election, reflecting potential challenges for Biden’s reelection bid.
