Former MLB player Jose Canseco expressed his interest in moderating a presidential debate between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, following Trump’s willingness to participate in multiple debates with Harris after President Biden’s withdrawal from the race.
“I should moderate the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris,” Canseco wrote.
Biden endorsed Harris as the Democratic nominee after securing majority support from delegates.

Trump stated that debating Harris would not differ from debating Biden, as he believes they share similar policies.
“Absolutely. I’d want to. I think it’s important,” Trump said.
“I would be willing to do more than one debate, actually,” Trump added.
Meanwhile, Canseco may face competition from named moderators David Muir and Lindsey Davis for the upcoming debate.
