Vice President Kamala Harris has pledged that, if elected president, she would support legislation granting amnesty to an estimated 11 to 22 million illegal immigrants, along with implementing nationwide no-excuse mail-in voting.
During a rally in Glendale, Arizona, she emphasized the need for comprehensive immigration reform that includes strong border security and a pathway to citizenship.
“We know our immigration system is broken and we know what it takes to fix it: comprehensive reform. That includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship,” Harris said.
Critics argue that this approach could increase competition for jobs among American workers, as recent data suggest that job growth during the Biden administration has primarily benefited foreign-born workers, including illegal aliens.
Additionally, Harris expressed her intent to advance the Freedom to Vote Act, which aims to ensure automatic voter registration, streamline mail-in voting, and expand access to drop boxes for ballots.
“What that essentially means is that all of the job growth we have seen [under Biden and Harris] has been going to foreign-born workers — a category…which the Bureau of Labor Statistics admits includes illegal aliens,” Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni stated.
Concerns have been raised about the accuracy of voter rolls, particularly regarding the inclusion of foreign nationals due to the automatic registration processes often linked to DMV offices.
