Vice President Kamala Harris has been criticized for her progressive stance on immigration, particularly for co-sponsoring legislation aimed at protecting illegal immigrants from deportation.
In 2019, she supported a bill to rescind the Trump administration’s Executive Order 13768, which emphasized strict immigration enforcement and penalized jurisdictions that did not cooperate with federal authorities.
Harris’s record includes advocating for taxpayer-funded benefits for undocumented immigrants, supporting calls to defund the police, and denouncing the actions of ICE as comparable to the KKK.

Additionally, Harris sought to reverse numerous Trump-era border policies and has expressed a willingness to decriminalize illegal border crossings, reflecting her broader approach to immigration and law enforcement.
