Former President Donald Trump recently called out Vice President Kamala Harris, proposing that she undergo a cognitive assessment because of her perceived “slow and lethargic” replies in interviews.
The proposal came after Harris released a medical report asserting her physical and mental resilience.
“I believe it is very important that Kamala Harris pass a test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility. Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her,” Trump wrote.
Trump also accused CBS’s “60 Minutes” of editing Harris’ responses to protect her and expressed concern over her interview performance on immigration.
“Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally ‘bonkers,’ with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked,” Trump said.
“Also, she is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions,” Trump added. “We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!”
In response to Harris’ calls for Trump to release more medical records, his campaign cited past medical reports confirming his excellent health, including assessments following the assassination attempt on him.
“President Trump has voluntarily released updates from his personal physician, as well as detailed reports from Dr. Ronny Jackson who treated him after the first assassination attempt. All have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief,” Trump campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said.
