The NYPD has shared updated images of the individual suspected of fatally shooting Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. The suspect, who was initially seen wearing a mask, has been revealed without one.
Authorities believe the shooting was targeted, as the suspect approached Thompson from behind and shot him in the back while ignoring other pedestrians.
The suspect was described as wearing a distinctive gray backpack, a light brown jacket, and black and white sneakers.
Additionally, he allegedly left a message on the shell casings that read “Defend,” “Deny,” “Depose.”
