A former CIA officer, known by the alias “Alice,” has alleged a significant government cover-up regarding injuries caused by directed energy weapons, commonly referred to as “Havana Syndrome.”
In an interview with Catherine Herridge, Alice described her own experience with these attacks while serving in Africa, which resulted in severe symptoms and traumatic brain injuries, forcing her into medical retirement.
Alice said, “I heard a weird noise. It was a really weird sound that I’ll never forget it. And after about a second or two, I felt it in my feet, kind of like the reverb from a speaker.”

Alice stated, “I was paid for my brain. I was paid for my ability to write well and to write for the president. I was paid to meet with foreigners and to get information that would help advance U.S. security objectives. I can’t do that anymore the way I used to.”
She accused the CIA of gaslighting victims and obstructing congressional investigations, claiming that the agency is downplaying the seriousness of the incidents to protect its interests.
Alice said, “It’s a cover-up, and it should be terrifying to all Americans.”
Alice added, “It was designed to make us think we’re crazy and question our own injuries.”
A leaked Defense Department letter supports the reality of these injuries, contradicting the intelligence community’s claims of unlikely foreign involvement.
Alice revealed the financial and bureaucratic struggles she faces in seeking medical care, and she criticized the CIA for revoking her security clearance, viewing it as retaliation.
She expressed hope for reform under a potential Trump-Vance administration, advocating for the removal of those involved in previous reports on the incidents.
Alice stated, “If they’re politicizing this, what else are they not telling the president?”
Alice concluded, “The phrase cleaning up the swamp is thrown around a lot in DC, but at a bare minimum, I do not believe that those people that were involved in the earlier report should be allowed to touch this. I think they need to actually recuse themselves or should be replaced.”
