Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York faced a downpour during a campaign speech in the Bronx, choosing to stay in the open to attract attention despite the nearby canopy.
With his re-election prospects dimming, trailing opponent George Latimer by 17 points in a recent poll, Bowman’s dramatic stance in the rain was seen as a symbolic move reflecting his struggling campaign.
“If you can dedicate today, tomorrow, the next day, and Tuesday to getting people out to vote, we are going to win this election because of either one,” Bowman said on stage.
I hope Bowman loses in a LANDSLIDE… He really does fit the description of ghetto trash.

Known for attention-grabbing actions, including a recent profanity-laced rally with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bowman’s alignment with the progressive “Squad” has highlighted divisions within the Democratic Party and alienated some voters.
