Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy Osbourne, announced his support for former President Trump during a recent episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, where the family discussed the assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Despite his previous criticisms of Trump, Jack expressed admiration for Trump’s response to the shooting, stating that his display of leadership and resilience convinced him to vote for him.
The family, including Ozzy, Sharon, and Kelly, shared their shock at the security failures that allowed the attack, lamenting the death of local firefighter Corey Comperatore.
“But I got to say it’s probably not going to be a popular statement amongst mainstream, but, like, I’m voting for him after that,” Jack said.
“When I first heard about it, I thought, ‘It’s not real. It’s not for real.’ And thank God the guy was a bad shot.”
“But he killed a man,” Osbourne added.
“Heartbreaking,” Sharon said.
“He’s as strong as an ox,” Sharon added.
Jack noted that a president should be strong and capable of facing adversity, contrasting his current support with past negative comments made by him and his sister about Trump.
“Yes,” Jack said, adding, “But I look at it like this, a president should be a leader, a president should be strong, a president should be able to kind of walk through anything. He gets shot in the ear, stands up, raises his fist while they’re trying to drag him off the stage. He doesn’t want to leave the stage.”
He added, “I’m like, OK, like he might not be totally full of [expletive] because someone who’s full of [expletive] if they get shot, the [expletive] facade fades real quick, and you start seeing someone’s true colors.”
